Sad reality & trend on baked yummies nowadays is this cursed term: gluten free(aka GF). Luckily I don't have those health issues or conditions upon consuming food w/gluten(although, I've been definitely leaning toward reducing them from my diet), occasionally I get so-called gluten free food served. Majority are tolerable - somehow - but I must say there still some non-appetizing / cardboard-like items do exist. This GF cookie by Babes Bakery gave me a wow-moment. Of courrse you would not expect exactly the same non-gf texturing & flavor but pretty close, AND surprisingly good/satisfying.
