Wagyu talkin' bout, Willis? 🤔 What more could you want from a Tonkatsu lunch? Bar waiting 1.5 hours in line to eat, I can't fault this meal. It was totally worth the wait! 260g of deliciously tender, breaded wagyu beef cutlets accompanied by a mound of shredded cabbage with a sweet covering sauce, a bowl of the tastiest miso soup, vermillion cod roe, yam paste and an assortment of dipping sauces made this a meal to remember! Grill the beef yourself on a slate slab heated by a candle to the rareness of your preference. Possibly the best meal in Japan so far? I'd go there.
