So ono! Quite possibly the best smash burger I've ever eaten...and it's from Hawaii where beef is so expensive. However, at $19USD the price is on par with similar burgers from California. Served with 2 smoked meat and brisket patties and cheddar cheese

I'm not a burger person but this is my all-time favorite and at the spot where Shake Shack first started at Madison Square Park.

The rice bun was toasted more than usual. It had a nice crunch and was better than the last time I ordered this here. Still hoping that someday it'll be as delicious as when I first tried this.

the bottom bun was on the soggy side from the juices of the meat. tomato slices weren't in season and affected my appreciation for this burger. ordered medium rare and was tasty. the grilled beef tongue slices (hence, "First base") were excellent. I'll need to try this burger again when tomatoes are in season, maybe I'll like it more.
