Since the Pismo Beach Kraken closed a couple months ago due to unsustainable rent increase, I made a special trip here to sip my beloved Kraken Mexican Mocha. ☕️

I love the spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of cayenne) used in their Mexican Mocha. Perfectly balanced in spice to mocha flavor. Kraken Coffee Co is my favorite place for coffee whenever I'm the SLO/beach area of SoCal. Locally roasted and always fantastic.

This NorCal girl is willing to make the drive along the Central Coast just to have this Mexican Mocha. I'm in my happy place. 💖

When I was making my order, another customer wondered if Porto's coffee is better than Starbucks. For both taste and price, YES! Porto's coffee is a lot better than Starbucks.

The housemade organic dark chocolate syrup they use here makes a flavorful mocha with a sugary taste. Having a peppermint version during the holidays, perfection!

Feeling the love with this mocha ❤ My favorite mocha in my 'hood. Not too sweet and mixed with a housemade dark chocolate sauce. Total yum!

my favorite "members only" Peets coffee drink.

whenever I'm at Peets and want something warm, this is my drink. it's a "members only" menu item and this w one was free for my "membership" anniversary. 🙂

it's made with Guittard chocolate and it was not as rich in flavor as I hoped. Kinda felt like they took hot cocoa and mixed it with coffee.
