REALLY GOOD
1st BAK KUT TEH

Glad I had the option to order a specific cut (in this case, soft rib bone) because all too often, I struggle with the tougher and boar tainty cuts. These were devoid of either and the broth was aromatic without suffering from peppercorn overkill. Accompanied by the requisite Yao Cha Kuih (dough fritters), Pork Meat Balls and Onion Rice.

I enjoyed the light yet aromatic broth.
4th CLAYPOT SOUP 瓦煲汤
Kee Heong Bak Kut Teh, Klang
The broth was ok. Just didn’t care for the disproportionate amount of very fatty pork in the mix. I wish there could have been more ribs.
5th BAK KUT TEH
新名古屋封肉.肉骨茶, Jenjarom
First time trying Bak Kut Teh (BKT) in Klang. It's comparable to Teochew style BKT but is less peppery and lacks the dough fritters yours truly is accustomed to. Instead, there're bean curd skin and stringy mushrooms.
6th DRY CHICK KUT TEH

It doesn’t remind me of the brothy version of bak kut teh even if I tried to imagine a more concentrated version of the broth. It just tastes like a completely different dish (nevermind the difference in protein type).
10th SIGNATURE BAK KUT TEH 招牌肉骨茶
Ya Hua Bak Kut Teh, Singapore
It’s Prime Cut Rib (supposedly) in a peppery, salty and otherwise flavorless soup. Not forking out $11 for this again.
