AMAZING
1st FRUIT SALAD
Tía Lily’s House, Villa Pueyrredón
Ok, the freshest, sweetest strawberries I’d had in a long time. They were doused in orange juice with bananas mixed in. Who knew I’d enjoy a fruit salad so much?!? 🍓🍓🍓 💕
REALLY GOOD
2nd PITBULL MART CRISPY VEGETABLES
Moo-Ka-Ta Krua Thai Restaurant (Kepong Baru), Kuala Lumpur
I think these were jackfruit crisps which I got to snack on at a mini grocer built into the resto. They were as crispy good as they looked and sounded. As expected, they gave me gastritis, so the backup omeprazole wasn’t a paranoid hypochondriacal decision on my part.
3rd FIGS
Kebun Buah Tin Nadiah, Bentong
Purchased from a roadside stall outside the farm. At RM 50/kg, of which I purchased 1 kg (although they really didn’t feel like they weighed all that much), these were smaller, softer, riper (and hence more concentrated in their flavor). I preferred their flavor but not their texture.
4th PRICKLY PEAR
Leppington Valley Farm, Leppington
Straight from the producer. Or what’s left of it…
6th ROSE APPLE SLICES
nahm, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon
Rose apple slices with palm sugar to douse the raging fires in our mouths.
7th MUNCH STRAWBERRY CRISPY
CS Fresh The Star Vista, Singapore
If you’ve always wondered what freeze-dried strawberry jam might taste like...
8th TRADER JOE’S FREEZE DRIED BANANA SLICES
Trader Joe's, Los Angeles
Light, crunchy and tasty. The best I’ve had so far in their banana range!
10th GARDENSCENT WHOLE FOOD NUTRITION ORGANIC FREEZE DRIED BANANA & PEACH
One Nature, Singapore
I had come with the sole intention to buy freeze-dried corn, but ended up buying these as well after sampling the shop’s other offerings.
PRETTY GOOD
13th FIGS
Fig Malaysia Farm Janda Baik, Bentong
At RM 125/kg, of which I purchased ~ 160 g worth, these were medium-sized and mild-moderately sweet.
14th BLACK GENOA FIGS
Leppington Valley Farm, Leppington
They’re better than the ones I’ve had in recent memory but not good enough to warrant another purchase for the price.
16th RUBY SALTBUSH
Outback Caravan Park, Tennant Creek
Bush tucker today consisted of Ruby saltbush. It was like a tomato and a pomegranate had a baby. A very tiny baby. #northernterritory
17th APPLE
Pike & Joyce Wines, Lenswood
From someone's dad's former orchard.
20th DIVINE AUTUMN ROYAL GRAPES
Isetan Jurong East, Singapore
Black seedless grapes from Spain. These were huge, succulent, sweet and pricey.
21st DRIED FRUIT TRAILMIX
Inzana Ranch & Produce, Hughson
organic Mission figs, organic pears, organic O'Henry peaches, organic apricots, organic persimmons, organic red flame raisins, organic almonds, and organic walnuts
22nd SHINE-MUSCAT シャインマスカット
FairPrice Finest The Clementi Mall, Singapore
My first time trying muscat grapes from China and also my first time trying grapes in posher packaging than I’m used to. Today is a grapey kind of day. #winenext
23rd FRUIT PLATTER
Lufa Gourmet Grand Garden, Xiamen Shi
Watermelon, dragonfruit, orange, cherry tomatoes
25th PRE-DINNER FRUIT
Prince Restaurant, Xiamen Shi
A slice of dragon fruit and a slice of orange before dinner. Pre-meal fruit seems to be a thing in Xiamen.
26th DRIED PERSIMMON
土楼永定景区, Longyan
Sampling a dried persimmon within a communal Hakka walled house.
27th FRESH FRUIT
MI921, XMN - SIN
Watermelon & dragonfruit.

Korean strawberries are skinnier.
30th TRADER JOE’S® CALIMYRNA FIGS

They’re pretty great to snack on after a lite lunch.
