Happy National Cereal Day and yes, Biscoff butter was always going to be a good idea in granola 😋

Probably the most extravagantly indulgent granola I’ve ever made or had. In addition to the pecans and pistachios, virtually an entire jar of pistachio butter went into its production! So good though!

This gives me the feels of a haute sanitarium brekkie sometime in the gilded age but I don’t think I can verify that.

Made more granola. This time as gifts.

Second attempt at chewy granola bars—two years running. Different recipe, same outcome 😭 Still delicious, but once again they’ve crumbled, leaving these 2 barely intact survivors. The recipe called for soft, moist dried apricots… mine were probably bulk bin veterans 🙄

BRIEF: “Crunchy Multi-Grain Chocolate Granola with Dried Fruits Breakfast Cereal.” SOOT’S TAKE: Received a free sample with my purchase of cornflakes. They’re pretty good for commercially produced granola but are clearly outside the league of homemade.

Even better with flaky bittersweet rama chocolate from Rapa Nui! 😋

...and the cacao nibs complemented the peanut butteriness of the granola. Plus I got rid of an open bag of oats! Let the pantry-emptying continue into the weekend...

Banana bread-inspired granola. Been a while (years?) since I made any kind of granola. A tad too coconutty for me. 🥥😳
