After half an hour of misdirected walking around in the heat of the ☀️, I finally found this place. I was pleasantly surprised to see they served peppermint mocha, and at a friendlier price too compared to the coffee place at Verve Shops.

Handcrafted by our Head Barista, this addictive re-innovation of a Malaysian favourite infused with only the greenest of pandan to bring out the sweet richness that Gula Melaka is known for. We slow cook our Signature Gula Melaka Syrup to ensure that the essence of the Pandan seeps into the Syrup and delivers a very Malaysian palate to our customers.” SOOT’S TAKE: It was a 25 min wait for this but worth it.

Boy did I need a jolt to the senses after that Chardonnay.

BRIEF: “Black Coffee, Condensed Milk, Evaporated Milk.” SOOT’S TAKE: So refreshing. I need to make one at home.

The nice lady behind the counter offered me a free flavor shot to choose from their wide selection. I ended up picking English Toffee. Yum!

Reminds me of my first Starbucks beverage in Hawaii, the Mocha Coconut Frappuccino.

Not too sweet and it went well with my fresh out of the bakery oven pan au chocolate.

It’s good but maybe too pricey for me to want to make a repeat visit anytime soon. Plus I’m still hopped up. > 7 h later.🤯

The heat got unbearable.

At a coffee shop that shall remain nameless because it literally is nameless (the proprietor confirmed it). Anyhow, they accommodated my request to make my coffee less sweet.

Pretty much an overpriced Kopi Ais.

It wasn’t clear on the menu what this was, a google search yielded nothing and any attempt to clarify with the robot servers proved fruitless, so I ordered it to find out. It appeared to be a coffee-based drink that also tasted moderately chocolatey, so a mocha of sorts, possibly with Milo (considering the drink’s name)?

BRIEF: “The perfect combination of espresso and milk swilled over ice.” SOOT’S TAKE: I’m beyond surprised this has a nutri-grade of A but I’ll take it.

I think this was potent but I’m not sure as I also took a sip of @furflebear ‘s aerated americano.

Lotsa condensed milk to mask the bitterness.
