From the economy rice stall @ Tradehub 21, the Chinese version of Nasi Padang. Still affordable despite the 26% price hike.

This stall has acquired legendary status for its signature curry rice. I got mine with ngor hiang (lor bak) and chicken chop. Sadly, it was not to be for Sooty M. Everything was soaked in a thick, flavorless curry with a strange dark sauce mixed in. The slimy cabbage and gravy dish that was thrown into the mix unexpectedly only added more slop to slop. In essence, it was like putting mucilage in your mouth. Being the only one in the establishment to not lick the platter clean, I left quickly to avoid getting lynched.
