This strawberry parfait was absolutely divine and yes, I ate all of it. The strawberries held their own as stars of the show and were beautifully complemented by a wonderful supporting cast of whipped cream, strawberry and vanilla glacé. I’m not sure these were Amaou strawberries but if they’re as succulent and sweet as these were and with just the perfect hint of tartness, then I’m willing to be convinced. Overall, outstanding. 🍓🍓🍓

Not a bad combo!

“A strawberry parfait made with soft Earl Grey pudding, strawberry compote, homemade Earl Grey crumble and sponge cake. Topped with glazed strawberries, almond mousse and a touch of thyme.” I did not think this was a good way to showcase strawberries which were rather flavorless or the Earl Grey for that matter. The extra side of soft serve was pretty good but the parfait as a whole was rather bland. A regrettable choice.
