These were great; I could taste pickle and a vague hint of cheeseburger. Would repeat.

Consistently crispy but sour cream & chives is still da best!

Thin and crispy crisps fried in wagyu fat and finished with a sprinkling of furikake and sesame seeds. Well done, but not necessarily to die for.

BRIEF: “Take a stroll through traditional piazzas, olive tree groves and the timeless tastes of Tuscany…we season each chip with the classic flavour pairing of sweet caramelised onions with tangy balsamic vinegar…Let your tastebuds travel in style.” SOOT’S TAKE: Another sampling of Kiwi-produced potato chips and they don’t disappoint. They certainly delivered on the “delicate crispness” of every single chip but I may have to try harder to equate this experience with that Tuscan stroll.

Also crispy good but think I prefer sour cream & chives.

First time trying this brand and quite possibly my first sampling of NZ potatoes. Crispy good 👍 right down to the crinkle.

Think upgraded Pringle’s and for only $2 for a can.

Traditional Potato Chips

Cork.” SOOT’S TAKE: I wish I could have reveled more in the charming rusticity of the provenance of these chips. Alas, they were a bit too sweet for my liking. In fact, they tasted more like honey butter chips than one would have expected a truffled chip to taste like.

BRIEF: “Aromatic flavours of crispy chicken with curried coconut sauce.” SOOT’S TAKE: > 2 months past expiration and still great + goes great with a glass of Riesling.

Honey butter chips with flavor of 4 cheeses, namely Parmesan, mascarpone, camembert and Fromage Blanc. You can detect a general cheese flavor on the side but that is largely dominated by the sweet and buttery taste of the chips.

I was still hungry after lunch so I busted out a bag of chips I had stashed somewhere.

BRIEF: “Step into the world of famous buildings, fast scooters and fine art in celebration of this Italian masterpiece…we season each chip with flavour inspired by the time-honoured combination of fresh basil, delicate mozzarella and rich tomato…Let your tastebuds travel in style.” SOOT’S TAKE: Another sampling Delisio’s potato chips and they don’t disappoint. They certainly delivered on the “delicate crispness” of every single chip and they’re Margherita Pizza-ish-tasting, but the fast scooter-fine art experience part needs more than a bit of tweaking. 🛵🖼

They tasted like any other BBQ-flavored potato chip. Not sure I detected bulgogi in them. 🤨

BRIEF: “FairPrice Hot Chilli Pepper & Lime Potato Chips are made with fresh potatoes and are exquisitely crafted for your enjoyment. Delight in a bold balance of citrus tones and spiciness of the chilli pepper seasoning for a mouthwatering snacking experience.” SOOT’S TAKE: They’re definitely spicy(!) and citrusy but they’re not something I would return to.

BRIEF: “Potato Chips are made with fresh potatoes and are exquisitely crafted for your enjoyment. Delight in a mildly spicy and tangy infusion of traditional Indonesian spices and savour the classic taste of sambal balado in this mouthwatering snacking experience.” SOOT’S TAKE: The chips didn’t exactly scream sambal to me. Generic-tasting and really too sweet for my liking.
