Happy Foodies Day with today’s flashback to the trio of smoothies @sarbarella, @gooddayphoto and I got at the Burlington Farmer’s Market when we all met for the first time the summer of 2015. Has it really already been a decade??? 😱🙀😱

BRIEF: “Silky smooth avocado with milk and honey.” SOOT’S TAKE: In an 🥑 kind of mood today. This was nice.

So refreshing!

Can’t beat this when it comes to beating the heat! 🍓🍓🍓🍓

BRIEF: “fresh avocado, maple syrup, OATSIDE Barista Blend Oat Milk” SOOT’S TAKE: They’d run out of everything but this and some protein powdered drink (nope), so I picked this. Probably would’ve been just as good with honey.

PINEAPPLE | PASSIONFRUIT | LIME | AGAVE | LEMON SORBET

BRIEF: “Organic Açaí, Banana, Mango, Pineapple” SOOT’S TAKE: Quite possibly my first açaí smoothie in recent memory and it hit the spot.

To the renewal of body and soul on a day to affirm one’s humanity.

Much needed on such a hot day!

Ice-blended tropical mix of pineapple puree, coconut, strawberry, banana and mint leaves. This was like a pina colada sans the rum. Yum!

Who knew lychee, watermelon, apple juice and wildflower honey would produce such an amazing refreshment?!?

Avocado | Moringa Leaf | Banana | Coconut Water Smoothie bowl that don’t burn a gaping HOLE in yer pocket. It‘s good and I’m mostly getting avocado and banana out of this, which means I still don’t know the taste of moringa leaf. Maybe that’s a good thing? 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🥑🍌🥥

BRIEF: “peaches, blueberries, mango nectar, sorbet.” SOOT’S TAKE: 50% pricier with extra peaches & blueberries!

BRIEF: “strawberry, acai berries, apple juice, bio-live probiotic coconut yogurt, maple syrup” SOOT’S TAKE: I’m not sure I’m such a fan of the yogurt in the smoothie? I think it may have contributed to the odorous burps that followed its ingestion. 😳

There were coconut bits in this cool and refreshing shake after running for the first time in a week! 🥥

“mango, passionfruit, mango nectar, tropical juice, sorbet & ice” that left me suitably quenched.

“Avocado, wildflower honey, vanilla ice-cream, milk, caramel sauce” I cannot believe I did not notice there was ice cream in it 😣

Coconut water, organic açaí, pineapples, banana

🍊 + 🍍 + passionfruit. V fibrous.

Passion fruit, mango, bio-live natural Greek yoghurt.

This was bland. It needed more honey (or whatever sweetener they would have used otherwise). It’s possible it had been forgotten altogether.

This tasted like commercially processed mango juice to me. Wasn’t a fan.

This might be what led to tummy troubles.

Artificial-tasting. Meh!
