Soft serve vanilla ice cream, smothered in chocolatey fudge sauce.

It’s $1 sundae time! 🕺

Hershey’s soft serve with a drizzle of warm chocolate sauce. Very nice. Probably would’ve worked really well with strawberry sauce too.

Something (slightly) different today before it disappears from the regular menu.

BRIEF: “Classic flavours that are always spot on—creamy, bright mandarin orange flavour served up with silky hot fudge sauce. Divine pairing to celebrate Lunar New Year!” SOOT’S TAKE: Tastes like what someone who’s never had a mandarin might imagine it to be—exotic, but off the mark; interesting, yet weird.

Purchased at SAKURA MATSURI: 2 mini scoops of matcha ice cream topped with Nagasaki strawberries blanketed over with a mantle of sakura(?) mochi, followed by a dollop of whipped cream and more strawberries. The strawberries were supposed to be the star but they did not live up to the price of this sundae. 🙁

Didn’t expect to find a Dairy Queen on Shantang Street. Their strawberry sundae is a larger and more expensive version of McDonald’s.

New on the menu and I’m glad it didn’t taste like strawberry milk. Nonetheless, I’ll likely opt for a hot fudge sundae next time.😆
