Best sweet & sour pork I’ve had in ages, if not ever. Been eying this place for a while and I’m happy I finally took the plunge!

Definitely different than the Cantonese version. It’s nice enough but lacks depth of flavor.

Not bad. I don’t remember the boar taint so that’s good. Tasted slightly different than their Singaporean counterparts.

Almost 3X the serving at Putian which was when I ate this dish most recently.

Sweet & Sour Pork: instead of pineapple, this version had lychees.

They’re decent enough, but have had better.

The force of boar taint was so strong in this that the first (and last) mouthful made my skin crawl. I must have grimaced too many times as it drew stares from neighboring tables. Even as I type this, I am still haunted by the taste and I am grimacing again 😖
