Very spicy, very tasty.

BRIEF: “Tom yum Prawn is best with a bit of chili paste. However you can request for clear version too!” SOOT’S TAKE: Requested the red version. This brought my father back to his days in Seagate Thailand (‘s canteen?) where he said he’d had (and had since not forgotten) the best tom yam he’d ever had.

Not the best tom yum I’ve had but better than their red tom yum.

It was aromatic enough but rather one-note and it lacked spicy kick.

This was somewhere between pretty good and just ok, possibly because we requested for it to be at the lowest spice level. 🫤

Nice, warm, comforting flavors but overall, somewhat muted. I wonder if it might’ve been fuller-bodied if we’d requested a spicier version?

Broth’s good but it’s a bit tiresome going through fish and bone with every spoonful to avoid choking 😪

First time trying a veggie version of this soup. Quite spicy.

Super spicy (my nose was running) and prepared with a cheat mix from Queen E's travels in Chiang Mai. Enhanced with extra lime juice.
