REALLY GOOD
1st BEEF LOK LAK
Genevieve's Restaurant, Krong Siem Reap
Marinated Porterhouse steak with a spicy dipping sauce and steamed rice. This was @Goodday Photo's dish and very tasty. The best lok lak we'd had so far.
2nd WAGYU YAKINIKU
SQ 826, SIN - PVG
BRIEF: “A tantalizing dish that showcases the finest Japanese wagyu beef. Grilled to perfection in the traditional yakiniku style, the succulent beef is served alongside a medley of assorted seasonal vegetables, kimchi, wakame seaweed soup and a warmed steamed rice.” SOOT’S TAKE: The best beef I’ve had probably since 2018 when I had that unforgettable steak in Kyoto. Didn’t come with kimchi or seaweed soup as advertised though.
PRETTY GOOD

Samples from the Vermont Beef Industry Council @ VERMONT CHEESEMAKERS FESTIVAL 2015.
7th BRAISED BEEF CHEEK WITH RED WINE SAUCE
SQ 021, Newark - Singapore
Wild mushroom ragout, broccolini and crushed potatoes
8th SIX HOUR SMOKED BEEF SHORT RIBS SERVED WITH SPICY SALSA AND PICKLES
A Little Farm On The Hill, Bentong
I wish we liked this more but alas, we’re not big on beef. The radish pickles were nice though.
9th 和牛串 WAGYU KUSHI
DON DON DONKI JCube, Singapore
A bit overdone and in no way compares to the striploin I indulged in over a week ago. Still, it beats the steaks @ Jack’s Place.
10th BEEF CHEEK
Waves Pan Asian, China
Red wine braised slow cooked beef cheek with soft polenta and fontina cheese
11th 青菜牛肉
Lufa Gourmet Grand Garden, Xiamen Shi
Tongue-numbingly SPICY, sPiCy, spicy beef stir fry. 👅🥵👅
13th DARK CHOCOLATE BEEF RENDANG WITH FRIED MANTOU
DBS Marina Regatta 2017, Singapore 049323
From THE BELLJAR: 3 pieces of golden pillows served with dark chocolate beef rendang
JUST OK
16th 48HRS SLOW COOKED ANGUS BEEF
savour CHRISTMAS 2016, Singapore
From Team Rabbit Stash: Truffle Butter, Oyster Mushroom, Pickled Pearl Onion, Gruyère Fondue. Underwhelming for the price and description. :((
17th BEEF STEAK TEPPAN
HENIU TEPPANYAKI 和牛铁板烧, Singapore
Laced with black pepper. Not at all what I expected. Reminded me of American Chinese food.
