I think these are breaded, but are sauced to the point the breading is a mushy mess surrounding the wing. The buffalo sauce is great, and having been absorbed by the breading is rather flavorful, but it leaves the rest of the chicken un-buffalo’ed and just plain (juicy) chicken. One of the few times a mechanical flaw in a dish significantly holds back a solid flavor in a review, it’s just an unpleasant thing to eat for all the wrong textures. Definitely flavorful and spicy, but not a well-executed wing.
