Juicy, Crispy Pork Belly🐖 Located in Llyswen, the Griffin Inn was one of the only places available or open, and man am I happy it was. Had no real idea about the food, just from reviews it seemed nice but “nice” doesn’t give a full picture of the flavour. The overall dish was great, Nicely steamed veg, with a creamy, peppery mustard mash. Placed on top was a very juicy and definitely tender piece of pork belly which was just the crown of the dish. However the best best was without a doubt the pork skin on top, one of my favourite foods is chicharron and when you cook pork like that, with a crispy skin it would make any meat eater happy. Everything tasted great, especially when paired with a beautifully delicate apple sauce, seasoned nice and lots of flavour alongside the apple. Overall the best dish (in my opinion) you can get here, don’t be disappointed. The Griffin Inn, Llyswen -📍
